My sister and I adored our time at Magums Airlie Beach! You couldn't beat the location right in the heart of the main strip which was so close to absolutely everything, yet the accommodation itself was peaceful and quiet. The staff at the front desk were also incredibly knowledgeable and kind. I will be recommending this place!

Had a great experience at Magnums Airlie Beach! Checking in and storing our luggage went very smoothly. Special shoutout to Nicole and Celia at the front desk - they truly went above and beyond and were so helpful!!

The Self-contained cabin was perfect for our stay! The amenities in the mini kitchen were great, it was very clean, and the noise from the bar was buffered nicely by the surrounding plants and foliage. Plus - the party seemed to quiet down by 10 - even on Friday night.

So nice we stayed twice!! Loved this place. The staff are all so nice! Comfy beds, clean areas! Great kitchen, never too busy. With air fryer too!

The best location in Airlie Beach - right in the heart of the action. Shops, restaurants, etc. are all right next door. Despite this, it's very quiet in the middle of a tropical garden. Simply great!

Great one night stay the night before our Whitsundays excursion. Basic, comfy, clean rooms with air con and fan. Tea / coffee facilities in room plus a little fridge really made the difference.
Nice grounds and located right on the Main Street in Airlie Beach. Reception staff are very helpful. Shout out to Jules in particular who was very welcoming and helpful.

We stayed in a self contained bungalow and mate,it was great...Walking thru the jungle to our hut was the best experience...The shower was unbelievably powerful and warm...The ambience and atmosphere was so peaceful away from the party harders out the front...We felt we were the oldest at Magnum's but that's ok,we enjoyed it thoroughly...

Not only was the location perfect for the attractions in Airlie Beach but the cabin was exactly what I needed as an independent mature traveller - ensuite, TV and access to a laundry and a kitchen. . My cabin was located at the rear of the site and no noise was heard at all. The forest feel gave the atmosphere a peaceful ambiance. Cannot fault it!

Great hostel, nice small rooms with towels, bathroom in excellent condition and always shared with only a few people. The facility is very nice and the kitchen is great. Reception very nice and helpful.

We loved our cabin! It was quiet, clean, spacious and wonderfully cool. The air-conditioning worked SO well! The check-in staff were friendly and helpful. It was wonderful to be so close to everything. We enjoyed walking to the beach, shops and restaurants. Our only regret was that we just had one night to spend!

Magnums was a fantastic base to avail of everything Airlie Beach has to offer. Located right in the middle of everything and a stones throw from the sea, the location is as good as it gets….. topped only by the helpful reception staff. Ciara in particular who helped me make the most of my time with last minute your plans and went above and beyond to make sure I could extend my stay on a fully booked NRL final weekend, along with her colleague, Katie, I really couldn’t have asked for more and they made sure I made the most of my stay despite my lack of organisation.

Had a lovely comfortable stay at Magnums on our way to Cairns. The cabin was cosy, clean and very comfortable. Had a really restful night's sleep in the very comfy bed. Reception staff were lovely and a big shout-out to Nicole. I had injured my foot and was struggling to walk. She accompanied me to and helped me get to my cabin. Thank you for your care and kindness Nicole. Made a huge difference. Loved staying here and definitely on the radar to stay for future trips.

The location was amazing and the plants have a very "noise cancelling" effect from the main street! Room and shared bathroom are very clean and the kitchen is super clean and fully equipped. The staff was super and helped us with all our questions! Thanks. 

Beautiful set in a rainforest in the heart of Airlie Beach, this place is amazing! Super clean, facilities top notch, location couldn't possibly be any better but the best thing is the wonderful, helpful, friendly Jules at the front desk, what a legend thanks for making our stay perfect!

Inexpensive accommodation in a beautiful garden setting, kitchen facilities, birdsong to wake you up, pub on the doorstep (with live music) and you're right in the middle of the main street.

Arrived in Airlie for a week long holiday and popped into Magnums to see what tours I could book/ things I could do. The staff were super helpful and helped me book in 3 tours while I was in. Katie in training, Jools & Ciara were honestly the most friendly people and went above and beyond to sort my tours out for me. They are a true credit to your team. They booked me in for a trip to Hamilton, big fury & jet skis, which were absolutely outstanding. Would definitely book back in with these girls when I come back to Airlie again ?

The location was amazing, and at the reception we booked all the activities that we were going to do during our stay in Airlie Beach. The staff from the hostel were amazing and also the amenities and the facilities. Everything was incredible.

I had such a lovely stay at this hostel! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and it really felt like home. Jules at reception was incredibly kind and attentive — honestly the best service I’ve received in years. There was also a lovely girl from Ireland (I wish I remembered her name!) who was equally friendly and helpful. Even the cleaning staff were super sweet and always greeted us with a smile. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We had a great time there. Easy access, clean and tidy, convenience, and we really loved the atmosphere like a jungle. We want to come back again! Thank you for the good memories!

Amazing setting in bush. Staff very welcoming. One of the best accommodation of its type we have stayed in. Would return if back in beautiful Airlie Beach and the Magnums Live Music next door is great.

A unique hostel experience. We stayed in a queen cabin with an ensuite. It had fun cabin vibes and was clean and tidy. The ac/heat was fantastic, bed was comfortable and the staff were incredible. We look forward to staying here again. I am convinced that this hostel is a cheaper and better alternative to some of the other fancier hotel and resort accoms. Absolutely worth checking out Magnums.

Stayed for two nights – peaceful jungle feel despite being near the main road. Clean room with fridge and cutlery, plus spotless kitchen and bathrooms. As a 40+ solo female traveler on a budget, I felt safe and comfortable. Great value and location. Would recommend!

Magnums was the perfect base for our stay in Airlie Beach. The location couldn’t have been better, right in the heart of town with everything within easy walking distance. Our room was simple but very clean and comfortable, exactly what we needed. Despite being so close to the bar, we didn’t hear any noise at all at night, which made for a really relaxing stay. Overall, a great spot with free parking.
